EFT is the most effective tool that I’ve ever found for dealing with food cravings. It works fast, and it works well.
It’s as simple as deciding what food craving it is that you’d like to deal with. Can’t leave chocolate alone? Let’s start there!
If you have some chocolate in the vicinity, open it…smell it….think about how much you’d like to eat it. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being “I’ve got to have it now!” and 1 being I don’t care if I ever eat it, how high is your craving?
Eight, you say? Start tapping. Three times on the karate chop point – “Even though I really crave this chocolate, I deeply and completely love and accept myself”. Reminder for the other points – “This craving”, “This chocolate craving”.
After a couple of rounds of tapping, your craving should be much lower, or even gone. Rate the craving again. Still feeling a 3? Tap another round or 2, saying “This remaining craving”.
Most of the time it’s as simple as that. There are times that for one reason or another you need to do a bit more work, but generally cravings are fairly easy to get rid of, and getting rid of them can make a tremendous difference if you’re trying to lose weight.
Give it a try. It will only take 5 minutes of your time, and may remove your craving permanently.
Hi Pat! I love your site. This post really resonates with me! I find that EFT is very effective for food cravings, too! Warmly, Barbara
Thanks for the kind words, Barbara. EFT is effective for so many things that I can’t imagine not having it to use.
